Income and Poverty in Anchorage Municipality, Alaska

Employment Report for Anchorage Borough, Alaska -- Annual 2005 Industry Summary

Mining between the years 2001 and 2005, saw the greatest loss in employment in Anchorage County. The sector faced a loss of 1,315 jobs during the period, or 38.9 percent of the employment in the industry. This made up a total of 38.4 percent of the total jobs loss in the County.
