Fairbanks Metro Area industry wages have increased by 23.7% percent since 2001

From the second quarter of 2001 to the second quarter of 2006, industry wages have increased in the Fairbanks Metro Area by a total of 23.7%. This is greater than the growth in wages for the State of Alaska and greater than the growth in average wages for the US.

Fairbanks Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind Alaska, and Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

Wages in all industries in Fairbanks, AK when analyzed can be understood as being relatively high when compared to other 2nd quarter of 2006 Metro Area wages throughout the nation. The average pay is 2.6 percent lower than the state, which accounted an average of $39,041. The average pay was less than the US average pay of $40,259.
