Income and Poverty in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska

In Juneau City and Borough, Alaska according to the Decennial Census of 2000, 41 percent of the White Alone, 23 percent of Black or African American, 34.4 percent of the Asian alone and 20 percent of the Hispanic or Latino population, over the age 25, has achieved at least a Bachelors Degree.

When measuring the total land area, Juneau spans a total of 2717 square miles. The county has a very low average population density of 11 persons per square mile, in 2005.
