Birmingham-Hoover Metro Area industry wages have increased by 17.7% percent since 2001

Industry wages, from 2001 to 2006, have increased in the Birmingham-Hoover Metro Area by a total of 17.7%. This is less than the growth in industry wages for Alabama and greater than the growth in average industry wages for the United States.

Birmingham-Hoover Metro Area Industry Wages Exceed Alabama, but Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

The overall industry wages in Birmingham-Hoover, AL can be understood as being relatively high when compared to other Metro Areas throughout the US in the 2nd quarter of 2006.
