Mobile Metro Area industry wages have increased by 21.5% percent since 2001

From the second quarter of 2001 to the second quarter of 2006, industry wages have increased in the Mobile Metro Area by a total of 21.5%. This is greater than the growth in wages for the State of Alabama and greater than the growth in industry wages for the nation as a whole.

Mobile Metro Area Industry Wages Exceed Alabama, but Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

Wages in all industries in Mobile, AL can be understood as being medium-high when compared to other 2nd quarter of 2006 Metro Area wages throughout the nation. The average pay is 0.2 percent higher than the state, which was reported to be $34,182. The average pay was less than the US average pay of $40,259.
