Montgomery Metro Area industry wages have increased by 22.5% percent since 2001

Since 2001, industry wages increased in the Montgomery Metro Area by a total of 22.5%. This is greater than the growth in industry wages for the State of Alabama and greater than the growth in industry wages across the US.

Montgomery Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind Alabama, and Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

Wages in all industries in Montgomery, AL can be understood as being medium-low when compared to other Metro Areas throughout the US in the 2nd quarter of 2006. The industry wages are 4.5 percent lower than the state, which accounted an average of $34,182. The average pay was less than the overall average in the United States of $40,259.
