Higher Education in San Joaquin County, California

San Joaquin County, California has a moderately-educated population, with 14.6 percent of the population (+25) having received at least a Bachelors Degree, as reported in the Decennial Census of 2000. San Joaquin is reported having a lower percent of highly educated individuals than the State of California's proportion of 26.6 percent and a lower percent than the national average of 24.4 percent.

From 2000 to 2005, the percent of the male population that can be considered highly educated has increased by 2.6 percent. As reported in 2005, 17.6 percent of the total male population, in the area, has obtained at least a Bachelors Degree.
