El Centro Metro Area industry wages have increased by 16.2% percent since 2001

From 2001 to 2006, average industry wages increased in the El Centro Metro Area by a total of 16.2%. This is greater than the growth in wages for the State of California and greater than the growth in industry wages across the US.

El Centro Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind California, and Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

Wages in all industries in El Centro, CA when analyzed can be understood as being very low when compared to other 2nd quarter of 2006 Metro Area wages throughout the nation. The average pay is 48.2 percent lower than the with an state average of $45,358. The average industry wage was less than the national industry average of $40,259.
