Fresno Metro Area industry wages have increased by 23.8% percent since 2001

From 2001 to 2006, average industry wages increased in the Fresno Metro Area by a total of 23.8%. This is greater than the growth in wages for the State of California and greater than the growth in average industry wages for the United States.

Fresno Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind California, and Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

Wages in all industries in Fresno, CA when analyzed can be described as medium-low when compared to other 2nd quarter of 2006 Metro Area wages throughout the nation. The average pay is 32.7 percent lower than the reported averages in the state of $45,358. The overall industry wage was less than the industry average in the US of $40,259.
