Modesto Metro Area industry wages have increased by 21.6% percent since 2001

From the second quarter of 2001 to the second quarter of 2006, industry wages have increased in the Modesto Metro Area by a total of 21.6%. This is greater than the growth in industry wages for California and greater than the growth in average wages for the US.

Modesto Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind California, and Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

Wages in all industries in Modesto, CA when analyzed can be understood as being medium-high when compared to other Metro Areas throughout the US in the 2nd quarter of 2006. The industry wages are 27.3 percent lower than the with an state average of $45,358. The average industry wage was less than the overall average in the United States of $40,259.
