Income and Poverty in Weld County, Colorado

The median household income in the area has declined a small amount from the inflation-adjusted 2000 income levels. The income level has decreased to $48,763, which amounts to a 1.5 percent decline. Weld County, Colorado has a highly-educated population of the working age, with 21.6 percent of the over 25 years old population having a Bachelors Degree or Higher, according to the 2000 Decennial Census. Since the year 2000, a very high number of individuals have migrated to Weld internationally.
