Demographic Profile for De Kalb County, Georgia

From 2000, a extremely high amount of people have migrated to De Kalb from outside the country. The immigration into De Kalb accounts for 20.1 percent of all immigration into Georgia. In DeKalb County, the census reported 295,252 housing units in the year 2005. This represents a growth in housing units, adding in all 26,459 housing units since the year 2001, or 9.8 percent.
