Higher Education in Wayne County, Georgia

In 2000, the Census reported that in Wayne County, Georgia, the largest educational attainment category for men is the High School Diploma category, with 38.6 percent achieving this level. The female population in Wayne on average have achieved a greater level of higher education (Bachelors or Higher) than men -- 11.4 percent (Men) versus 11.8 percent (Women). The largest educational attainment category for women is High School Diploma, with 35.2 percent of women in the area reaching this education level.
