Albany Metro Area industry wages have increased by 12.5% percent since 2001

Industry wages, from 2001 to 2006, have increased in the Albany Metro Area by a total of 12.5%. This is less than the growth in wages for the State of Georgia and less than the growth in industry wages for the nation as a whole.

Albany Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind Georgia, and Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

Wages in all industries in Albany, GA when analyzed can be understood as being medium-low when compared to other Metro Areas throughout the US in the 2nd quarter of 2006. The industry wages are 22.6 percent lower than the state, which accounted an average of $38,831. The industry pay was less than the overall average in the United States of $40,259.
