Income and Poverty in DeKalb County, Georgia

Hispanic in DeKalb County, Georgia reported a median household income of $50,982, this median household income is 11.3 percent less than the median reported for all households in the area. DeKalb County, Georgia has a very highly-educated population, with 36.4 percent of the population (+25) having received at least a Bachelors Degree, as reported in the Decennial Census of 2000. Demographic Profile for De Kalb County, Georgia

From 2000, a extremely high amount of people have migrated to De Kalb from outside the country. The immigration into De Kalb accounts for 20.1 percent of all immigration into Georgia. This level of international migration can be considered extremely high when analyzed against immigration per population in 2005.
