Income and Poverty in Fayette County, Georgia

The median household income has declined from the values (adjusted for inflation) in 2000. The median has decreased to $76,421, representing a 8.3 percent decline. Higher Education in Fayette County, Georgia

Fayette County, Georgia is made up of a very highly-educated 2000 population, with 36.2 percent of the population (+25) having received a BA or higher, as reported the 2000 Decennial Census. Fayette was reported to have a higher percent of the population with at least a Bachelors than the State of Georgia's proportion of 24.2 percent and a higher percent than the national average of 24.4 percent.

Demographic Profile for Fayette County, Georgia
