Income and Poverty in Taylor County, Georgia

It was reported in 2000 that the Asian headed households had median household incomes of $71,663. This median income level is 143.6 percent greater than the all households reported median in the area. The 2000 Decennial Census reported that in Taylor County, Georgia, the largest educational attainment category for men is the High School Diploma category, with 39.8 percent receiving this level of education. Taylor County, Georgia had a total estimated population of 8,887 in 2005. The total population has increased, from the population in the year 2000 of 8,825. This growth represents an increase of 0.7 percent.
