Cherokee County Wages have increased by 22.2% Since 2001

Cherokee County Five-Year Industry Employment Change

The total number of jobs has decreased by 11.9 percent since the 2nd Quarter figures of 2001. This change is greater than growth in Iowa, which went through a gain of 2.5 percent since the 2nd Quarter of 2001. The losses felt were greater than than the gain reported at the US level of 2.6 percent.

Income and Poverty in Cherokee County, Iowa

In the year 2005, the population division of U.S. Census Bureau estimates the median age in Cherokee County, Iowa to be 45.1 years of age.
