Income and Poverty in Wapello County, Iowa

Black or African American headed households had median income levels that were 7.8 percent greater than the total 2000 reported median, with a their median reported to be $40,585. From 2000, a medium-low amount of people have migrated to Wapello internationally. The migration from outside the US into Wapello makes up 0.6 percent of the total international migration into the State of Iowa.
