Employment for all industries has increased by 4 percent since the 2nd Quarter figures of 2005. This change is less than growth in Idaho, which went through a gain of 5.9 percent since the 2nd Quarter of 2005. The gains felt were greater than than the gain felt at the national level of 2.0 percent.

Income and Poverty in Blaine County, Idaho

Blaine County, Idaho is made up of a very highly-educated population of the working age, with 43.2 percent of the over 25 years old population having a Bachelors Degree or Higher, according to the 2000 Decennial Census. Demographic Profile for Blaine County, Idaho

Estimated since the year 2000, a very high amount of people migrated to Blaine from outside the country. The immigration into Blaine totals 3.9 percent of immigration into the State of Idaho. This percent of international migration is very high when compared to international migration per 2005 population.

Blaine County, Idaho has a population that is made up of 82.9 percent White, 0.1 percent African American, 0.7 percent Asian, and 15.4 percent Hispanic.
