Boise City-Nampa Metro Area industry wages have increased by 16.5% percent since 2001

Industry wages, from 2001 to 2006, have increased in the Boise City-Nampa Metro Area by a total of 16.5%. This is greater than the growth in industry wages for the State of Idaho and greater than the growth in average industry wages for the United States.

Boise City-Nampa Metro Area Industry Wages Exceed Idaho, but Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

Total wages in all industries in Boise City-Nampa, ID can be understood as being medium-high when compared to other 2nd quarter of 2006 Metro Area wages throughout the nation. The average pay is 14.4 percent higher than the state, which was reported to be $31,468. The industry pay was less than the US average pay of $40,259.
