According to the 2000 Census, the Asian headed households in the area have median household incomes of $14,333. Coles County, Illinois had an estimated population of 51,065 in 2005. The total population has decreased, since its 2000 population of 53,042. The decline shows a decrease of -3.7 percent. Coles ranks 99 of 102 counties in terms of population growth in Illinois and the county ranks 3,063 of 3,141 counties by growth in county population in the United States.
