In Grundy County, jobs in the utility system construction pay the highest wages

Income and Poverty in Grundy County, Illinois

Grundy County, Illinois has a population that is made of 91.3 percent White, 0.9 percent African American, 0.6 percent Asian, and 6.2 percent Hispanic. This area can be considered to have a modest level of racial and ethnic diversity, with 7.7 percent of the population made up of minorities. This is less than the State of Illinois percent of 33.1.
