Income and Poverty in Henry County, Illinois

Henry County, Illinois has a population that is made of 94.2 percent White, 1.2 percent African American, 0.4 percent Asian, and 3.4 percent Hispanic. The population mix can be considered to have a very modest level of racial and ethnic diversity, with 5.0 percent of the population made up of minorities. This is less than the State of Illinois percent of 33.1. Since 2000, Henry has increased the percent of minority makeup when 4.3 percent of the people were minorities.
