Income and Poverty in La Salle County, Illinois

La Salle County, Illinois may to understood as having a moderately-educated working age population, with 13.2 percent of the population (+25) having received at least a Bachelors Degree, as reported in the Decennial Census of 2000. La Salle has a lower percent of individuals with higher educations than the State of Illinois's proportion of 26 percent and a lower percent than the national average of 24.4 percent.

La Salle County, Illinois had a population of 112,604 in 2005. The estimated population has increased, since the population in 2000 of 111,529. This growth signifies an increase of 1 percent.
