Income and Poverty in McDonough County, Illinois

Black or African American householders reported a median household income that was 55.4 percent less than the overall median reported in 2000, with a reported median of $16,765. McDonough County, Illinois had a total estimated population of 31,966 for the year 2005. The total population has decreased, from the population in the year 2000 of 32,860. The decline signifies a decrease of -2.7 percent. McDonough ranks 90 of 102 counties in terms of population growth in Illinois and the county ranks 2,935 of 3,141 counties when calculating the total change in county population across the US.
