Peoria Metro Area industry wages have increased by 25.3% percent since 2001

From the second quarter of 2001 to the second quarter of 2006, industry wages have increased in the Peoria Metro Area by a total of 25.3%. This is greater than the growth in average industry wages for Illinois and greater than the growth in average wages for the US.

Peoria Metro Area Industry Wages Lag Behind Illinois, but Wages Exceed the United States Industry Wages

The overall industry wages in Peoria, IL when analyzed can be understood as being relatively high when analyzed with other Metro Areas in the United States. The overall wages are 6.5 percent lower than the state, which accounted an average of $43,351. The average industry wage was greater than the industry average in the US of $40,259.
