Columbus Metro Area industry wages have increased by 10.9% percent since 2001

Industry wages, from 2001 to 2006, have increased in the Columbus Metro Area by a total of 10.9%. This is less than the growth in wages for the State of Indiana and less than the growth in industry wages for the nation as a whole.

Columbus Metro Area Industry Wages Exceed Indiana, but Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

The overall industry wages in Columbus, IN when analyzed can be described as relatively high when analyzed with other Metro Areas in the United States. The overall wages are 5.6 percent higher than the state, which accounted an average of $35,468. The overall industry wage was less than the US average pay of $40,259.
