Income and Poverty in Hampshire County, Massachusetts

The median household income has declined from the values (adjusted for inflation) in 2000. The median has decreased to $48,401, representing a 10.3 percent decline. Demographic Profile for Hampshire County, Massachusetts

In 2005, the Census Bureau estimated the median age in Hampshire County, Massachusetts to be 34.5 years old. The median in Hampshire is less than the median age in Massachusetts of 38.2. Since the year 2000, the area has seen no change in this median, when at that time it was 34.5 years old.
