In Wicomico County, Maryland according to the Decennial Census of 2000, 25 percent of the White Alone, 9.8 percent of Black or African American, 32.6 percent of the Asian alone and 25.8 percent of the Hispanic or Latino population (over 25) has obtained a Bachelors Degree or Higher.

Wicomico County, Maryland had a population that was estimated at 90,402 for the year 2005. The total population has increased sharply, since the 2000 total population of 84,892. This growth shows an increase of 6.5 percent. Wicomico ranks 14 of 24 counties by growth in total population in Maryland and the county ranks 474 of 3,141 counties when calculating the total change in county population across the US.

The U.S. Census Bureau, in the year 2005, estimated a median age in Wicomico County, Maryland to be 35.8 years of age.
