Demographic Profile for Anoka County, Minnesota

Anoka County, Minnesota had an estimated population of 323,996 for the year 2005. The total population has increased sharply, since its 2000 population of 299,830. This growth shows an increase of 8.1 percent. Anoka ranks 3 of 87 counties in terms of population growth in Minnesota and the county ranks 139 of 3,141 counties when analyzing total county population change across the nation.

Anoka County, Minnesota has a population that is made of 88.5 percent White, 3 percent African American, 3.4 percent Asian, and 2.4 percent Hispanic.
