Rice County One-Year Percentage Growth in Employment

The Taxi and limousine service industry has seen the largest percentage job growth, expanding by 68.8 percent from the 2005 (Q2) to the 2006 (Q2). This industry in Rice County has expanded faster than the industry job growth experienced in Minnesota, where it saw a loss of 4.4 percent. Income and Poverty in Rice County, Minnesota

When put side-by-side with other counties (or parishes) throughout the United States, Rice County, Minnesota can be recognized as having a poverty rate amid the residents with a poverty rate of 6.9 percent with a family income under the 1999 poverty level.
