Redwood County, Minnesota has a population that is comprised of 92.6 percent White, 0.3 percent African American, 1.5 percent Asian, and 1 percent Hispanic. This area can be considered to have a very modest level of diversity, with 2.8 percent of minorities in the 2005 population base. This is less than the State of Minnesota percent of 11.2. Since 2000, Redwood has increased the percent of minority population when 1.8 percent of the total population were minorities.
