Pike County, Mississippi has a population that is comprised of 49.1 percent White, 49.2 percent African American, 0.5 percent Asian, and 0.7 percent Hispanic. The area can be described as having a very high level of diversity in terms of race and ethnicity, with 50.4 percent minorities. This is greater than the State of Mississippi percent of 39.2.
