Higher Education in Hoke County, North Carolina

In 2000, the Census reported that in Hoke County, North Carolina, the largest educational attainment category for men is the High School Diploma category, with 32.2 percent obtaining this level of education. The women in Hoke have attainment on average a greater level of higher education (Bachelors or Higher) than men -- 9.2 percent (Men) versus 12.6 percent (Women). Many of the women in the area have achieved the High School Diploma category, with 32.6 percent of the areas female population attaining this level of education.
