The overall industry wages in Macon County, North Carolina when analyzed can be described as medium-low when compared to other Counties throughout the state in the 2nd quarter of 2006. The industry wages are 25.3 percent lower than the state, which accounted an average of $35,650. The average pay was less than the national industry average of $40,259.
