Income and Poverty in Ashe County, North Carolina

The households that were headed by an American Indian and Alaska Native individual in Ashe County had a median household income level of $20,768, which was 38.4 percent less than the median income level in this area. Ashe County, North Carolina has a population base that is comprised of 95.6 percent White, 0.7 percent African American, 0.2 percent Asian, and 3.1 percent Hispanic.
