Charlotte-Gastonia-Concord Metro Area industry wages have increased by 16.7% percent since 2001

Since 2001, industry wages increased in the Charlotte-Gastonia-Concord Metro Area by a total of 16.7%. This is greater than the growth in industry wages for North Carolina and greater than the growth in average industry wages for the United States.

Charlotte-Gastonia-Concord Metro Area Industry Wages Exceed North Carolina, but Wages Lag Behind the United States Industry Wages

The average total wages in all industries in Charlotte-Gastonia-Concord, NC-SC can be described as relatively high when analyzed with other 2nd quarter of 2006 Metro Area wages throughout the US. The average pay is 15.5 percent higher than the state, which accounted an average of $35,650. The average pay was less than the US average pay of $40,259.
