Higher Education in Greene County, North Carolina

Greene County, North Carolina has a less-educated population, with 8.2 percent of the population over 25 years old having received at least a Bachelors Degree, according to the Decennial Census of 2000. Demographic Profile for Greene County, North Carolina

In 2005, the Census Bureau estimated the median age in Greene County, North Carolina to be 35.3 years old. The median in Greene is less than the median age in the State of North Carolina of 36.2.
