Income and Poverty in New Hanover County, North Carolina

While household income level experienced a decline in the last five year in New Hanover County, North Carolina, the Race/Ethnicity category that felt the biggest decline in household income was the Hispanic Race/Ethnicity category. Reported by the 2000 Census in New Hanover County, North Carolina, the largest educational attainment category for men is the Bachelors Degree or Higher category, with 33.2 percent obtaining this level of education. Since 2000, a medium-high number of individuals have migrated to New Hanover from outside the country. The immigration into New Hanover makes up 0.9 percent of all immigration into North Carolina.
