Income and Poverty in Nelson County, North Dakota

Compared to counties across the United States, Nelson County reported a relatively low median income for households of $33,804 (2005 Dollars). The income level is 19.8 percent lower than the household income median in State of North Dakota of $40,487 and the median household income is 45.3 percent lower than the median for the rest of the nation, which is a reported $49,133.
