Employment Report for Madison County, Nebraska -- Annual 2005 Industry Summary

In Madison County, Manufacturing, Retail Trade, and the Health care and social assistance industries are the largest employment industries. The Manufacturing provides the most jobs and contributes 24.8 percent of the total county employment. This totals 4,689 individuals. The Retail Trade and Health care and social assistance industries make up 15.9 and 14.3 percent of all employment.

Administrative and waste services is the industry that has grown the most in terms of employment from 2001-2005 in Madison County, growing in new jobs by 40.7 percent.
