Demographic Profile for Custer County, Nebraska

Custer County, Nebraska has a population base that is comprised of 97.5 percent White, 0.2 percent African American, 0.2 percent Asian, and 1.3 percent Hispanic. This area can be considered to have a very modest level of racial and ethnic diversity, with 1.7 percent of the population being minorities. This is less than the State of Nebraska percent of 12.7. Since 2000, Custer has increased the level of diversity when 1.2 percent of the people were minorities.
