Coos County, New Hampshire has a population that is made up of 97.4 percent White, 0.3 percent African American, 0.4 percent Asian, and 0.9 percent Hispanic. The population mix can be considered to have a very modest level of diversity in terms of race and ethnicity, with 1.6 percent of minorities in the 2005 population base.
