Monmouth County One-Year Industry Employment Change

Employment for all industries has increased by 0.4 percent since the 2nd Quarter figures of 2005. This change is less than percent in New Jersey, experiencing a gain of 1.0 percent since 2005 ( 2nd Quarter). The gains were less than than the gain felt at the national level of 2.0 percent.

Income and Poverty in Monmouth County, New Jersey

As the median household income witnessed a decline during the period of 2000 to 2005 in Monmouth County, New Jersey, the Race/Ethnicity group that went through the most dramatic decline in median income was the Black or African American category. This group felt a decline of 11 percent in the last five years. The White Race/Ethnicity group has been least impacted by the median income decline in Monmouth County, undergoing a 1.4 percent increase in household income, since the reported levels in 2000.
