In Sussex County, the utility system construction industry jobs pay the highest wages

People with jobs in the utility system construction indstry reported the top wages in Sussex County for 2006. The average worker in the industry in Sussex County received a wage of $181,834 in 2006. The average wage is greater than the average industry wage in the State of New Jersey of $61,904 and greater than then the wage for jobs in this industry in the US of $48,011.

High-wage employment in Sussex County, New Jersey exsists in telecommunications resellers ($114,800), securities and commodity contracts brokerage ($94,599), freight transportation arrangement ($71,082) and scientific research and development services ($69,826 industries. Sussex County Wages have increased by 13.3% Since 2001

From the second quarter of 2001 to the second quarter of 2006, industry wages have increased in Sussex County, New Jersey by a total of 13.3%. This is less than the growth in industry wages for the State of New Jersey and less than the growth in average industry wages for the United States.
