Income and Poverty in Roosevelt County, New Mexico

The Asian headed households reported median household incomes of $100,022. This income level is 221.6 percent greater than the reported median for all households in the area. Hispanic headed households in Roosevelt County, New Mexico , as reported in 2000, had a median household income of $24,582, which is 21 percent less than the median reported for all households in the area. The households that were headed by an American Indian and Alaska Native individual in Roosevelt County had a median household income level of $7,532, this median was 75.8 percent less than the median for all households. Demographic Profile for Roosevelt County, New Mexico

Since the year 2000, a medium-high number of individual migrated to the Roosevelt internationally. The migration from outside the US into Roosevelt makes up 0.4 percent of the total international migration into the State of New Mexico. This percent of international migration is medium-high when comparing levels of immigration per population in 2005.
