Nassau County Industry Wages Lag Behind New York, but Wages Exceed the United States

Nassau County Five-Year Percentage Growth in Employment

The Unclassified industry has gone through the largest job growth by percent, increasing by 223.8 percent from the 2nd quarter of 2001 to the 2nd quarter of 2006. This industry sector in Nassau County has grow faster than the industry has grown in the State of New York, where it saw a gain of 208.5 percent.
