Total industry employment has increased by 0.4 percent since the 2nd Quarter figures of 2005. This change is less than growth in the State of New York, which saw a gain of 1.0 percent from the 2nd Quarter of 2005. The gains were less than than the gain felt at the national level of 2.0 percent.

Income and Poverty in Columbia County, New York

When calculating the total land area, Columbia spans a total of 636 square miles. The county has a medium-low average population density of 100 persons per square mile, in 2005.
