Demographic Profile for Champaign County, Ohio

Champaign County, Ohio has a population that is made up of 95 percent White, 2.5 percent African American, 0.4 percent Asian, and 0.8 percent Hispanic. This area can be considered to have a very modest level of diversity in terms of race and ethnicity, with 3.7 percent of minorities in the 2005 population base. This is less than the State of Ohio percent of 15.5. Since 2000, Champaign has increased the percent of minority makeup when 3.2 percent of the people were minorities.
